This Week in Philadelphia (TWIP) for 5-18

If you ever attended a Mobile Monday Mid-Atlantic get-together, you will come away amazed at the vibrance and creativity of Philadelphia's mobile developer community. Of course, the folks that attend are all true believers in the future of mobile ("...by the year 2020, the use of mobile computing in health care will extend average life spans by 20 to 25 years"), but the enthusiasm is infectious. This month's Mobile Monday is, as you might guess, on Monday.

Speaking of creatively going mobile, Innovation Philadelphia is also sponsoring the Creative Movement Conference on Thursday -- the creative economy in action. Philadelphia has a vibrant creative economy, and Innovation Philadelphia is doing a bang-up job of getting people to recognize it.
